This is what you are going to do
As a hostess, you ensure that everyone who enters our place is welcomed with open arms. You open the door with a smile, make sure guests have something nice to drink and eat, and answer the phone in a friendly manner. In addition, you provide practical assistance to ensure that our office looks neat, tidy and welcoming, and that there are sufficient supplies. You offer support during events and campaigns.
Do you enjoy cooking or baking? Then you will prepare a tasty lunch, snack and/or evening meal for our volunteers and clients.
This is you
You are friendly, caring and helpful. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. With a dishcloth in one hand and a coffee pot in the other, you know how to make everyone feel at home without losing yourself in the process.
This is what we offer
As a hostess, you are an important link in the meaningful work of De Haven. This volunteer work gives you the opportunity to have an impact on the lives of people who work or have worked in prostitution. You will receive talent-oriented coaching from the Office Manager and support from the volunteer coordinator. You will work within a close-knit team of both paid employees and volunteers. We work hard and laugh a lot together! You will be given a lot of freedom and opportunities to use your creativity and develop yourself further.

About De Haven
Stichting De Haven is a Christian organisation that provides assistance to people who work or have worked in the sex industry. We do this through fieldwork, social work and job coaching. We are active in The Hague and Rotterdam. De Haven actively seeks out the target group where they work: in clubs, behind prostitution windows or in home situations. We are loyal in our contact and respectful when stopping is not an option.
